As part of the Newcastle United Supporters Trust monthly board meeting, we were delighted to visit the NU Foundation on Saturday 5th August
We were treated to a full visit of the facilities by their CEO, Steve Beharall, who also presented a slide desk giving us a true understanding of what the Foundation is all about. You can read this here
In 2022, as part of the 1892 Pledge Scheme, members voted overwhelmingly to donate over £200K raised to 4 charities, of which the NU Foundation received £30,000 of this. This cash was used to open and develop a specific classroom on site.
It was an honour to visit the site and witness first hand what wonderful work the official charity partner of Newcastle United is undertaking.
