NUST Update on the Football Governance Bill

Today, August 15 2024, we have written to all of our North East MPs to encourage them to attend an event in Parliament on September 3 2024 to discuss the long-awaited Football Governance Bill. 

As an affiliate of the Football Supporters Association, we know, as your NUST Board, that this is a key time for football and its supporters. We all need the support of our MPs to protect our football clubs and the role they play in our community. 

We hope that following the support of the Government for independent regulation within English football, and through the work of the FSA, football can change for the better and remain as a feature of our local communities.
