NUST Home Ticketing and Mags Membership Survey Report 2025

In February 2025, we asked NUST members their opinions on Mags and Mags+ memberships, including ballot, resale and the ticketing website.

We had a great response to the survey of nearly 1000 members and whilst the results weren't surprising given the feedback we've heard this season, it was great to get solid data that we can share with the club.

You will see in the report that the estimated ballot success rate has reduced from last season (which the club stated was roughly 1 in 3) - this is in part due to the split of ticket sales now being between the ballot and the Member sale, which survey results show that Mags members value as a ticket purchasing option. 

Satisfaction with Mags membership as a whole tends to be directly linked to an individual's success rates in obtaining tickets and access to ticketing was by far the key reason for purchasing a Mags membership.

Whilst the problem of demand far outstripping supply is a difficult one for the club to solve in the short term, there were two key areas of frustration that the club can address:
Transparency around Membership value ie. the number of Mags members compared to number of tickets available in the ballot and Members sales.
Ticketing website functionality - 70% of respondents reported encountering ticketing website glitches or loading issues, exacerbating an already frustrating experience.
