I’m Karl Williamson, a 42-year-old father of two daughters, living in Warrington in the Northwest, though my heart remains in the Northeast where I’m from.
I’ve been a passionate NUFC fan since childhood, with memories of sneaking into games at St James' Park and witnessing iconic moments like the 5-0 win over Man U and 3-2 win against Barcelona. What really stands out for me, though, is sharing the matchday experience with family, especially my daughters, Alivia and Lillyana who are both proud Toon supporters, despite being born outside the area.
I’m deeply committed to causes I care about, having worked with the Warrington Wolves Foundation, raising over £6K for hospice care, climbing Kilimanjaro, and volunteering for Cancer Research UK. I’m currently the Treasurer for a charity linked to my youngest daughter’s school, and as an Account Director for a managed IT company, I’m skilled at managing meetings, agendas, and working collaboratively to meet goals.
I’m joining the Board of the Trust to help bridge divides within the fanbase, prioritising the needs of members while fostering open dialogue. As a board member, I’ll be focusing on:
• Strengthening ties with the women’s team, showcasing their achievements, and increasing visibility for fans.
• Boosting charity engagement, ensuring members see the impact of their support.
• Supporting non-local members, giving them a voice and a sense of connection to the Trust.
I’m committed to giving 100% to everything I do and would love to contribute to the Trust's growth and development.
I'm currently a Mags+ member of NUFC
